REJECTS Program
Rejection comes with the very real understanding that without the perks of cost-free venue, advertising, marketing, lighting design, ticketing systems, etc. that opportunities to showcase work for the freelance artist becomes overwhelmingly unlikely.
In an effort to uplift those who do and don’t receive resources, Lily Conforti/Corpus Dance Works and Javan Mngrezzo have ignited this annual show to cultivate community among non-recipients, and also to find a creative way to give voice to the heightened discussions surrounding dance funding in the Twin Cities.
This show is ENTIRELY pay-as-able.
ANY rejected works, including rejected Walker choreography evening works, ARE ELIGIBLE!
