I was a milk kid. Every night, I had a face off with a tall glass of whole milk. My mom believed that the thick white liquid would save me from brittle bones, being dumb, and probably hell too. And because of this (and much more)…I present to you: big MILK

 

Big MILK is an exploration into and criticism of, the US government's inability to make systemic changes and the ineffective ways that they have thrown cheese at a problem. When faced with recessions, housing crises and growing poverty due to inflation it seems that the US government continually “fixes” the problem with combative capitalism, consumerism, and funding ad campaigns.

This 18 min dance and theater work debuted at The Southern Theater in 2025 set on the Threads Dance Project as a part of their Tapestries Emerging Choreographer Program. This work will be made into an evening length work in June 2027 to be shown at the Southern Theater in part by the Southern Partnership Program 2027.
