Dance Works
All the Hullabaloo (Aug 2024)
In this dance show we rip through the cereal box of life looking for the prize at the bottom. Milking the nostalgia of our youth; we loop through the woes of adulthood because in the end…Trix are only for kids.
By the skin of our sleeves (April 2023)
By the skin of our sleeves begins to explore how our human senses shape and distort the lens through which we experience the world. We incorporate headlamps, jangling keys, and tactile stretchy sweaters to play in this idea.
This 25 minute work was performed in the 7th candy box festival presented by Arena Dances. There are hopes to expand this work into a larger evening length piece in the future.

I think we are supposed to be 'Coming of Age' by now... (Aug 2022)
Contemporary dance collides with a live alternative/rock band in this electric performance. Focusing on our Coming of Age stories, we push against societal pressures in a way that is rebellious and honest. In this show we aim to stretch the boundaries of what contemporary dance can be when set to head banging alternative music. There is something for everyone as we flow between head banging punk, sweeping ballroom, subtle sultry, and revival rock.
This collaborative 50 minute show had 5 live musicians and 7 dancers on stage. The show premiered at the 2022 MN fringe festival, toured and performed in the 2022 Indy Fringe Festival and also participated in an online festival.

Limbo (May 2021)
Limbo is a 10 minute dance for film piece that encapsulates a time of uncertainty and waiting. The imagery of people waiting at an abandoned train tracks for a train that is obviously not coming was used to signify feelings of limbo in our lives. The pandemic has created safety and financial limbos, and social unrest has created justice limbos. With this piece we strived to dive deeper, through movement, into how we can resolve these feelings of limbo, and move forward with perseverance and justice.
Limbo debuted in the 2021 MN and Calgary online Fringe Festivals, and went on to be shown in Film Festivals across the world receiving the following accolades: AIMAFF Honorable Mention, Munich Music Video Awards Finalist, International Music Video Awards Finalist.

Shuttle (July 2021)
Alex Beaumount, a textile artist, and Lily Conforti, a dance artist, wove their mediums together to create this work. With the theme of transformation in mind, the artists begin the piece from behind a frame of intertwined textile panels. Out of sight of the viewers, the artists initially poke out only fingers, hands, and arms from between the cloth panels and around the sides of the frame. The movement stretches gaps between the panels, providing glimpses of kinetic bodies. Continuing on, the artists unfasten panels, moving with the cloth and revealing different colors and patterns on the back. The artists extend the cloth panels outward, around, above, transforming the closed frame space into an open structure. Shuttle premiered in DanceBarn's outdoor show, CollabArts.
