Lily Conforti
Artistic Director/Dancer
Lily Conforti is a dance artist from the twin cities, graduating in May 2021 from the University of Minnesota with degrees in dance and physiology. Lily’s choreography has been performed in the University of Minnesota's BLUEPRINT and eARThing shows, FUTURE INTERSTATES curated by HIJACK, ArtBox's annual show INBOX@ARTBOX, and the FRINGE FESTIVAL. She has performed works choreographed by Carl Flink, Kjara Wurst, Andrea Miller, and other local dance artists.
Maeve Seymour
Dancer
Maeve Seymour is a contemporary dancer in the Twin Cities. She graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance and a minor in Art History. Her work focuses primarily on developing connections between art history and dance through the use of an intersectional feminist lens in order to deepen her contribution in both fields.
Morgan Cogley
Dancer
Morgan Cogley is a dancer and choreographer who graduated from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities with a Dance B.A. and Psychology B.S. in 2022. Recently, she produced and choreographed “Scribbles” which premiered at the Southern Theater in 2022. Morgan began her training in Sioux Falls, South Dakota where she spent 2017-2019 dancing with LiRa Dance Company. As a performer in the Twin Cities, Morgan has spent two years dancing and choreographing for the apprentice program of Crash Dance Productions. She is also an apprentice for Shapiro & Smith Dance under the direction of Joanie Smith. Currently, Morgan is involved in the project Live @ The Shed 2022 with Helen Hatch and Berit Ahlgren.
Vy Nguyen
Dancer
Vy Nguyen is a current student at the University of Minnesota, going into her third year as a Dance and Journalism double major. She grew up dancing at a local studio in White Bear Lake, Minnesota, training and competing in various styles of dance. In her senior year of high school, she extended her dance education, graduating from the Saint Paul Conservatory for Performing Artists in 2020. In her past two years at the U, she has gotten to work and perform with BrotherHood dance and BRKFST dance through the University Dance Theater. Recently, Vy began working as a choreographer/teacher teaching contemporary at The Workroom in Roseville, MN.
Tessa Russ
Dancer
Tessa is originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin and has a BFA in Dance and a minor in Business Management from the U of MN Twin Cities. At the U of MN, Tessa performed in the works of Kjara Wurst, Eko Supriyanto, Herbert Johnson III, Gallim Dance, Leslie Parker, Pedro Pablo, and BRKFST Dance. She now dances professionally throughout the Twin Cities with Black Label Movement as well as other local choreographers.
Isaiah Langowski
Dancer
Isaiah Langowski, starting dance at home with a push from the Saint Paul Conservatory for Performing Artists in 2015. During his time at the Conservatory Isaiah received a scholarship from TU Dance Center for the pre-professional Program and trained there from 2015 to 2018. Isaiah, recovering from Sesamoid surgery, was given the opportunity to work closely with Berit Ahlgren in ‘Give Ear’ from 2019 to 2020, as well as ‘Candy Box Happy Hour’ presentations in the Summer of 2020. Isaiah began attending the University of Minnesota in Fall 2020. Isaiah has been enjoying the rigor of his education with University faculty, Dance Theater Artists, fellow peers and motivating Alumni.
Milo Sachse-Hofheimer
Dancer
Milo is pursing a BFA in dance (Expected 2023) at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities. In the three years that Milo has studied through the UMN Dance Program, they have had intensive training in various forms of contemporary, ballet, jazz, yoga, and African diasporic movement. Beyond their classroom training, Milo has worked on repertory pieces for Gallim Dance, Robet Moses, Brother(hood), Annie Hanauer, BRKFST, Leila Awadallah, and Black Label Movement’s Carl Flink. This past year they had the privilege of staging an original choreographic work titled "Resonance" for the UDT Spring Concert. The past two Summers they have had the opportunity to participate in the B12 Dance Festival in Berlin, to embody the choreography of Paulina olowaska at the Walker, to conduct movement research through Sidra Bell’s Module in New York City, and to dance with a myriad of artists at Bates Dance Festival in Maine. As they finish their remaining year of university, Milo hopes to continue to expand and deepen their embodiment and understanding of dance.
